Terms and Conditions for Laser Engraving Services
1. Ownership of Merchandise
The customer confirms that they are the rightful owner of the merchandise provided for laser engraving or have obtained full authorization from the owner to have the item engraved.
2. Condition of Merchandise
The customer acknowledges that they have inspected their merchandise prior to submission for laser engraving and confirm that it is in good condition, free from defects that may be exacerbated by the engraving process.
3. Liability for Damage
The laser engraving service provider will exercise utmost care and professionalism during the engraving process. However, the customer acknowledges and accepts that there is an inherent risk involved in the laser engraving process, especially with delicate or high-value items.
The provider is not responsible for any damage to the merchandise caused by inherent defects, pre-existing conditions, or unknown factors that could compromise the integrity of the item during the engraving process.
4. Inspection and Approval
The customer agrees to inspect the engraved merchandise upon completion. Any claims for defects or damages must be made at the time of pickup or delivery. Failure to inspect or raise concerns at this time will constitute acceptance of the engraved item in its delivered condition.
5. Limited Warranty
The engraving service provider guarantees the workmanship of the engraving process but does not extend this warranty to the merchandise itself. The warranty covers only the accuracy and quality of the engraving as per the customer’s instructions and approved design.
6. Exclusions of Warranty
The provider’s warranty does not cover any damages arising from misuse, handling, or unauthorized alterations after the engraving process.
The provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the engraving process, including but not limited to, loss of value or sentimental loss.
7. Customer’s Responsibility
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete engraving instructions, including design specifications, material information, and any special handling requirements.
Any errors in the provided instructions are the customer’s responsibility, and the provider will not be held liable for discrepancies resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
8. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the engraving service provider from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the engraving of merchandise, including any claims brought by third parties regarding the ownership or condition of the merchandise.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the engraving service provider operates. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
10. Agreement to Terms
By submitting merchandise for engraving, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
