Welcome to Junior Jewelers, a dazzling new adventure for our youngest enthusiasts! At Croft & Stern, we believe that a love for gemstones and jewelry starts early. That's why we've created a special club just for kids ages preschool to elementary: Junior Jewelers.
What is the “Junior Jewelers” Kid’s Club?
Junior Jewelers is an exciting, hands-on club that meets at least once a month. It’s perfect for children who are curious about geology, gemology, birthstones, or simply enchanted by all things shiny. Each session is designed to be a fun, educational experience where kids can explore the art, science, and technical skills behind gems and/or jewelry making.
What to Expect
Interactive Sessions: Our events are filled with engaging activities tailored for young minds. From learning about different gemstones to understanding the basics of jewelry design, every session is an adventure.
Expert Guidance: Our experienced jewelry team will lead the sessions, ensuring that your child receives knowledgeable and age-appropriate instruction.
Parental Participation: We require that parents stay in our studio with their child. Parents are welcome to shop, have their jewelry cleaned, or just simply enjoy a complimentary beverage from our coffee bar.
Event Details
Duration: Each session lasts between 30-45 minutes, just the right amount of time to keep young minds captivated.
Reservation Fee: A $10 reservation fee is required per child. This fee will be donated to the Jewelers for Children charity, helping to instill a sense of community and giving in our young participants.

Junior Jewelers Kids Club: Learn Gemstone Shapes and Make Your Own Magnets!

Time: 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Give your budding artist a chance to make their own sparkly gem magnets! In this fun and creative Junior Jewelers Kids Club session, kids will explore shape with a rainbow of gemstone colors. Kids will design their very own set of dazzling magnets to take home, using safe, easy-to-handle materials. They’ll pick from a variety of faux gemstone shapes, real gemstone cabochons, and colorful rhinestones to create a set of magnets to take home.
What to Expect:
- Hands-on Design: Kids will enjoy selecting gemstones, arranging patterns, and creating personalized designs.
- Simple Assembly: We’ll provide the magnets and all needed materials, guiding each child through attaching and decorating their gem pieces.
- Take-home Treasures: Each child will bring home their finished set of gem magnets, perfect for showcasing their creativity!
This activity combines creativity, hands-on crafting, and a touch of gem knowledge, making it an enjoyable way for kids to explore the art of jewelry-making.
